Position Summary:

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for supporting the various business functions in their day-to-day accounting-related processes. The AR Coordinator will primarily be responsible for reviewing and working with the team to collect receivables, past due collections, account reconciliations, and customer vendor communication.

*Onsite presence 5 days a week is required for this role

• Responsible for the assisting of management and direct oversight of the assigned processes in production, filling, labeling, and packaging areas.
• Assisting the Production Manager of the management of plant employees, which will include salaried and hourly positions. Will be responsible for assisting in the selection of candidates, onboarding, and training of new employees. Will work closely with the Production Manager to assist with setting and managing expectations and will provide ongoing feedback on performance.
• Execute activities within the scope assigned to achieve departmental objectives, support business strategy, and achieve or beat the annual budget.
• Maintain and ensure effective communication with the Production Manager and Plant Manager and other departments leaders. Ensure feedback is provided to appropriate leadership on performance, progress, issues and concerns, and financial variances that may impact goals or budget.
• Maintain real-time communications with other Operations department leaders ensuring problem-free operations in Warehouse, Maintenance and Facilities.
• Partner with Quality to ensure production meets the requirements of the Quality Systems, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules, and that all production areas comply with audit/inspection expectations.
• Support production operations by planning and budgeting.  Provide data and expert knowledge in areas of responsibility. Ensure information is factual and data driven and seek review/approval from the Production and Plant Manager.
• Ensure applicable operational processes are followed.  Proactively review the established processes, identify improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to the Production and Plant Manager.
• Ensure production areas are compliant with the established Internal Control System.  Support audits, inspections, and inquiries.

Job Description:

The “Floater” position will work across multiple production positions and is responsible for tending to production machinery that processes peanuts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with production start- up and shutdown, set operating equipment controls and adjust settings to meet customer specifications on finished product.
• Perform quality checks throughout the shift to determine accuracy of control settings and to determine if customer specifications are met.
• Record process data accurately and in a timely manner for each lot processed. Legible handwriting           and ability to perform basic math functions are necessary.
• Maintain records in a clean, neat, and legible manner for each lot processed.
• Clean area of responsibility and equipment in areas throughout shift and ensure that area is clean at shift change.
• Notify Senior Processing Tech or Shift Supervisors of any equipment shutdowns or any problems with the quality of processed or produced product.
• Responsible for helping to ensure product meets or exceeds customer specification.

Position Summary  

Reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Manager and Supervisor, the QA Lead will oversee quality control activities, ensuring tasks are adequately performed to ofi, customer and regulatory food safety and quality standards. They will be responsible for communication, data collection, and specialized tasks to enhance food safety throughout the facility.  Quality Assurance Lead will also verify compliance to company food safety and hygiene protocol. Non-compliances discovered in any of these areas are to be communicated to the QFS Supervisor and/or QFS Manager.  

Position Responsibilities  

• Inspect the production and packaging processing area in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and ofi’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).  
• Support Leads and Production Supervisors in quality compliance.  
• Lead key QA assignments to ensure continued growth and progress of quality objectives.  
• Be proficient in collecting Adenosine Triphosphate, (ATP), Enterobacteriaceae (EB) and Allergen protein swabs. Use protocols to determine areas to swab and report results in electronic files and/or verbal.  
• Responsible for weekly GMPs updates.  
• Ensure proper hygiene is practiced by all employees (procedures, attire, etc.).  
• Initiate non-conforming tags for raw and packaging materials, as needed.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sanitation/Shift Lead or Shift Supervisor, the Sanitation Laborer is an entry level position which is responsible for performing all sanitation requirements within the plant.

Position Responsibilities 

• Clean all plant areas that are not readily cleanable during normal operating hours.
• Use water and chemicals only upon the direction and approval of the Shelling Plant Shift Lead. Dry cleaning is the only authorized method during production.
• Take special care, following Preventive Controls when cleaning product contact surfaces such as elevator buckets and conveyor surfaces. Do not use any chemicals on food contact surfaces.
• Strictly adhere to all SDS and label instructions of all cleaning products.
• Use only plastic type scrapers on food contact surfaces.
• Empty all mop buckets upon completion of mopping task.
• Account for all cleaning materials and notify Shelling Plant Shift Lead of any missing, unlabeled, or misused materials.
• Understand ofi Peanut Shelling safety policies, work safely and report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator.
• Comply with all of Peanut Shelling Company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
• Comply with all ofi Peanut Shelling Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).
• Notify supervision of any conditions that may affect the Safe Food Manufacturing Policies and Preventive Control Rules.

 Position Summary

 Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanic will conduct industrial equipment troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This role is responsible for on-shift equipment, facility maintenance, repair, on-the-spot troubleshooting support, will work to improve equipment efficiency and throughput by supporting improvement projects and performing preventative maintenance.   

The ideal candidate will perform periodic inspections, preventative maintenance, testing, and adjustments necessary to maintain the processing systems in peak operating condition. Perform all these duties while adhering to the safety principles and procedures required by ofi. 

Position Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Troubleshoots machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to: mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Performs equipment modifications on existing equipment, fabrication, and installation of new equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Oxy-Acetylene and electric arc welding and cutting of carbon steel.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician will perform a full range of duties and may provide technical assistance and guidance to members of the plant team. This position is responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical systems, control systems, and process instrumentation throughout the facility. The Electrician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical distribution systems, digital and analog control systems, PLC systems and networks, pneumatic systems, transducers, sensors, and other plant electrical devices. This role will perform diagnostic analysis of failed or faulty electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components and systems to determine appropriate resolution for return to service. In addition, the Electrician will perform periodic inspections, testing, adjustments, calibrations and servicing activities necessary to maintain the electrical, and control systems in peak operating conditions. Position Summary

Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Clerk will coordinate the receiving and shipping of all incoming and outgoing product, materials, or supplies, and is responsible for the accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving receipts with open orders.  Will escalate to the Shipping Manager or Plant Manager when major discrepancies occur.

The ideal candidate will ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost management to be successful in this role. They must effectively communicate with suppliers and internal team to ensure smooth transactions.

Position Responsibilities

• Check orders put in shipping box against report and print those that are missing.
• Check system when orders are processed to print allocation of product and give to shipping manager.
• Write special instructions on orders and make sure all markings or labels are written down.
• Make pallet labels for some outgoing shipments.
• Receive calls from trucking companies to make pick up appointments.
• Research freight rates and schedule any needed trucks.
• Dispatch trucks.
• Change product locations for inter-company transfers.
• Schedule Daily phyto and USDA inspections.
• Complete all paperwork for shipped orders and ship out in the system.
• Fax Bill of Lading to customers.
• Coordinate product and paperwork coming to and from each division.
• Distribute work to forklift drivers when necessary.
• During the season-Weigh truck in and out, get copies of paperwork, receive product into the system, schedule USDA and coordinate samples being pulled from each load are correct.
• Follow all company safety, hygiene and work rules.
• Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate is required
• One year of related experience is required
• SAP experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
• Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines while working on numerous ongoing projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively is required
• Knowledge and/or understanding of the following programs and regulations pertaining to a food processing plant:
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Food Safety

The pay for this role in the state of California is $24.39 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
