 Position Responsibilities 

• Operate the balancers as needed in production. Operate the skin and heart cleaning equipment. 
• Ensure product flows into correct sorting and blanching bins. 
• Pull dryer samples for the QA Tech.  
• See that all equipment is properly used and maintained. 
• Practice safe work habits and know how to use protective devices. 
• Keep the Shift Supervisor informed of all problems with recommended solutions for these problems. 
• All employees are directly responsible for Quality of OEN products.  Each employee must perform their job function in accordance with the GMP rules and the Sanitation, Safety and HACCP Programs. 
• Must follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job, including but not limited to, Right to Know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, bloodborne pathogens and lockout/tagout. 
• Execute special projects and other related activities as directed. 
• Sanitation Responsibilities: 
• Keep the oven clean and clear of skins, hearts and other debris. 
• Keep the oiler filled on the chain and working properly. 
• Always maintain clean work areas or when appropriate. 
• Keep all areas assigned to you on the sanitation schedule maintained 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 
•  Assist with training as needed. 

 Position Requirements 

• High School or GED is preferred. 
•  1 – 5 years of machine operating experience is required.

• Inspect the product on the picking table and remove all foreign material.
• Provide the QA Inspector and the Production Supervisor with all foreign material found on the sorting table during your shift.
• See all equipment is properly used and maintained.

• Keep the breakroom picking room and lower part of process room clean.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work any shift
• This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes peanuts. Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where peanuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air. • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency /unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. 
• Installs wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers.
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.  
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform requirement maintenance and service. 
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular Preventive Maintenance (PM) on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operators, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management.
• Responsible for not leaving plant premises when known problems exist without assuring corrective action is in place.
• Must follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job, including but not limited to, right to know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, Bloodborne pathogens, and lockout/tagout.

• Sanitation:  Must keep the work area clean, neat, and organized.

• High School or GED equivalent
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience
• This position requires working varied hours and/or weekend work.
