Position Responsibilities-Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to operate a Forklift machine (sit down & stand up)
- Pick orders
- Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Manages pick ticket orders
- Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, quantity, etc.
- Ensures that orders are accurate
- Stages items correctly for delivery
- Ability to read incoming order requests
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Proficient in math
- Detail oriented
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Able to lift 50 pounds with / without accommodations
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements
The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $20/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location
