Position Summary

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Operations Assistant will coordinate and expedite the flow of work between departments according to production schedule and compile reports on progress of work.

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and possess the ability to work with computer programs like SAP and Microsoft Excel. Ideal candidate must be willing to walk and stand up to 4 hours per day and sit stationary at a desk for up to 4 hours per day. Occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be dependable, a team player and have good communication skills.

 

Position Responsibilities

 

  • Print and close out process orders in SAP
  • Assign process orders to forklift drivers
  • Provide accurate PIC sheets to drivers for staging in packaging
  • Create and print compliance labels for process orders in SAP
  • Adjust process orders in SAP to equal requested quantities
  • Check and verify orders in the packaging plan are being followed to specifications
  • Closing out process orders in SAP/creating of outbound delivery
  • Track daily packaging output.
  • Manage the Stock Order program.
  • Provide coverage for shipping clerk position.
  • Provide coverage for packaging supervisor position.
  • Coordinator and perform inventory cycle count program.
  • Operate forklift to perform inventory activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Position Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 6 months - 1 year of experience desired
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
