As a Summer 2026 Intern, you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what’s on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.  

 

About the Role:

As a Supply Chain Optimization Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Ecommerce Team and gain exposure to strategic business operations and project work to optimize how products move from supplier to customer. In this role, you’ll analyze shipping, logistics, cost, and turn operational data into insights. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations.

        

The ideal candidate should be in good standing with an accredited university and have a desire to pursue a career within the food/agriculture industry. A desire to learn in a fast-paced environment while working with multiple teams across various locations and effective communication will be required to succeed in this internship.     

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •        Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 
  •        Reporting: Creating detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to management and other stakeholders. 
  •        Forecasting: Developing forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business goals. 
  •        Market Research: Conducting research to understand market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. 
  •        Performance Monitoring: Tracking performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement. 
  •        Strategy Development: Assisting in the development of strategies and plans to achieve business objectives. 
  •        Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness. 

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor’s degree or higher in operations, supply chain, engineering or a related discipline. 
  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to turn data into clear business recommendations.
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative, tenacity,and resourcefulness.

The pay for this role in the state of IL  is $22-40 hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location.

Interns whose permanent addresses more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
