Position Summary
Reporting to the EHS Manager, The Safety Clerk supports the Safety Department by maintaining accurate records, assisting with compliance activities, and providing administrative support.
The ideal Candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills in both English and Spanish enabling them to interact effectively with employees at all levels. They should be, organized, detailed oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding safety records, forms, and procedures.
• Provides support to personnel on the floor to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute safety topics for Team Leads to use during crew talks, or daily training sessions, ensuring safety topics align with company policies, current hazards, and applicable safety guidelines.
• Assist in developing safety SOP’s.
• Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow-up as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $21.00/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
