Position Responsibilities-Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  
  • Maintain real-time communications with other Operations department leaders ensuring problem-free operations in Warehouse. 
  • Ensure applicable warehouse processes are followed.   
  • Leads the transportation of raw materials/packages between the warehouse and other departments.
  • Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of all maintenance logs
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding occupational health and food safety.  
  • Provide guidance, training, and directions to warehouse associates, ensuring they follow procedures and meet productivity goals 
  • Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products 
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular counts, record-keeping, and system updates, making adjustments as needed 
  • Maintain daily shipping and receiving schedule  
  • Timely communicate any product shortages and damages 
  • Monitor the warehouse to ensure products are being moved safely, timely and efficiently  
  • Oversee and ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) are adhered to  
  • Make recommendations on process improvements that promote employee safety and maximize efficiency of the warehouse  
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance to include timeliness  
  • Must put our employees’ safety as priority
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations.
You must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. You must know how to recognize, prevent, and alleviate food safety hazards. This position requires good working knowledge of the SQF code.
 
Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate is required
  • Three (3) years of warehouse, shipping or production experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in the use of MS office at a basic level
  • Strong process orientation, attention to detail skills is required
  • Good problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to multi-task within a progressive organization
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred
  • Ability to work overtime, multiple shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
  • Must be certified to operate a forklift
 
The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $23.50- 26.50/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Pay rate is based on experience and skill set.
