Position Summary
Reporting to Buying Point Supervisor, the BP Yard Worker will assist with performing various 
buying point tasks as needed.
Position Responsibilities
• Operate equipment such as the forklift and small skid-steer loader 
• Wash out semi-vans, wagons, and other equipment with high pressure 2-inch fire 
hose.
• Manually assist moving semi-dryers
• Clean out dump pits approx. 20-24 feet deep
• Inspect product in farmer stock warehouses approx. 60 feet or higher. 
• Rake and level farmer stock product 
• Run farmer stock cleaners
• Load product out of overhead tanks to semi-van or wagons
• Throw and unroll tarps onto semi-vans
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping which consist of weed eating, 
sweeping, shoveling spillage as needed, lifting trash cans, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements 
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work overtime especially during harvest 
• Ability to follow safety requirements, rules, and conditions
• Ability to stand for a full shift & work in a moderate to fast-paced environment 
performing routine, repetitive tasks to meet production needs.
• Ability to read standard text and basic information, count numbers on meters & 
gauges, check material quality & concentrate on continuous operations during the 
work shift
• Ability to work in a hot and/or cold, dusty environment.
• Ability to climb and descend ladders
