Position Summary
Reporting to the Buying Point Manager or Weigh Master, the Scale Operator will be responsible for the accuracy of weighing all peanuts brought onto the yard
Position Responsibilities
- Weighing and grading inbound and outbound truckloads of peanuts and seed.
- Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors
- Running miscellaneous daily reports
- Be an involved/engaged member of a team and be willing to act and think independently
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of computers
- Capacity to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to effectively complete the tasks entrusted.
- Capacity to easily adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
- Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail.
