Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented supply Planning Clerk to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support the management of inventory and supplies, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will help maintain optimal stock levels and facilitate seamless procurement processes.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders for replenishment of stock, obtaining quotes and liaising with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate level for operations
- Keep detailed records of inventory, including quantities, locations, and descriptions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training manual for position and tasks
- Maintain organized records of inventory transactions and supply usage
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
Position Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Reliable in attendance and taking self-initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) required – SAP knowledge a plus
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Ability to achieve objectives and prioritize tasks in fast pace
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, data entry, and/or data analysis is required (2+ years)
- Understanding of inventory management principles
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
