Position Summary
 
The QA Clerk is responsible for accurately entering results into batch history and correctly dispositioning the batches when testing is complete.  The position is also responsible for tracking results for open orders and participating in Open Orders Team meetings to ensure that customer shipments are not delayed.  Other responsibilities include shipping samples to 3rd party labs daily, working with other departments to ensure that customer orders are met as well as sending email notifications of any product failures that may occur.  The Quality Clerk must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time to make sure only batches that are meeting specification are released for shipment.
 
Position Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative, technical, and/or specialized support to Quality Assurance
  • Perform complex, non-repetitive work assignments that may require advanced skills
  • Support multiple areas, including production, operation support and warehouse
  • Accurate data entry
Position Requirements
 
  • Experience prepping, packing, and shipping samples for customer requests, pre-ship and third-party lab analysis 
  • Experience running BMBC reports
  • Experience changing lot disposition in SAP
  • 3-5 years’ experience in customer service with order processing.  Export processing experience is desirable.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in making decisions that affect customer orders and other departments within the plant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Must be a self-starter, able to complete work accurately with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal & teamwork skills with ability to relate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to achieve multiple objectives in an environment of changing priorities, high pressure, and fast pace
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ensures food safety and quality of our products
