Position Summary
 
Reporting to the Director of IT - Enterprise Applications, the IT Business Analyst/SAP Logistics Manager will be responsible for supporting day to day IT functions associated with SAP Logistic execution and related SAP modules. This position is responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements and translating functional needs into technical solutions. They will support the IT team in functional expertise to configure, test, support and implement SAP Logistic execution, and Material Management (MM) solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skill sets.
 
Position Responsibilities
  • Sort out day to day queries of end users in SAP.
  • Develop and map solutions in the SAP system by collaborating with business teams to understand business requirement and needs.
  • Analyze and provide functional support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Analyze business critical process functions and provide solutions.
  • Create detailed functional and technical specification documents with solutions in line with user requirements.
  • Prepare design documents and detailed specification for Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).
  • Manage configuration of SAP Logistic execution (Material Management [MM], Warehouse Management [WM], Production Planning [PP], Quality Management [QM], and Sales & Distribution [SD]) settings and integration with other SAP Modules.
  • Coordinate with cross functional team members to resolve issues and provide solutions in SAP.
  • Provide training to new users on SAP transactions and processes.
  • Work on third-party systems integration with SAP.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare the Business Blueprint Document for implementation of projects.
  • Prepare business processes flow and end user training documents of SAP processes for the business team.
  • Test scripts/case preparation, user manual preparation, unit and integration testing
  • Responsible for the implementation of SAP for ofi entities
  • Support business users for change management, enhancements and bug fixes in the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase.
  • Ability to work autonomously in fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Manage project milestone, such as:
    • Assist in definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.     
    • Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Measure project performance utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs utilizing appropriate verification techniques.
    • Coordinate with internal resources, third parties, and vendors for execution of projects.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Position Requirements  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Six (6) years of progressive experience managing SAP logistic execution and related SAP modules, including:
  • Experience working on SAP Modules - Production Planning (PP) Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Sales and Distribution (SD)
  • Experience configuring system from SAP Production Planning and Quality Management perspective in SAP S4 HANA and ECC 6.0 EHP7
  • Experience analyzing and debugging SAP ABAP code for troubleshooting of the SAP application issues
  • Six (6) years of experience  working with Microsoft Office products, Share Point file management, ServiceNow, Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document business requirements.
 
The pay for this role in the state of IL ranges from $160,000 - $190,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on candidate’s experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors.
