Summary:
 
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, supporting production goals, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a positive organizational culture at ofi.
 
 Position Responsibilities  
  • Oversee daily operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Maintain accurate inventory systems using WMS and perform regular stock audits to guarantee inventory accuracy and availability.
  • Lead the warehouse team by providing direction, training, and performance feedback to drive a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments by leveraging shared resources to meet daily business needs.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations for the team and leverage strengths along with opportunities for improvement with the goal of facilitating employee development.
  • Work closely with QA (Quality Department) to ensure all aspects of the QMS are met for inbound and outbound goods.
  • Proactively maintain sanitary warehouse conditions through daily, weekly, and monthly master sanitation activities, and follow GMP.
  • Participate as needed for customer and regulatory audits. 
  • Manage relationship between internal warehouse and 3rd party storage facilities including coordinating shipments and verifying inventory. 
  • Maintain a culture of engagement and proactively provide resources for your team to ensure their success. 
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding compliance with all occupational and food safety regulations.  
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 
  
Position Requirements 
  • High School Diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
  • Four (4) years of Production, Logistics, or Inventory Management experience is preferred.   
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or Food Safety environment is a plus. 
  • SAP Experience preferred (or other WMS & ERP system).
  • Must have a high level of competency with manufacturing/inventory systems, and advanced skills in spreadsheets and database experience is required. 
  • The ability to work with a positive attitude in a faced paced and dynamic environment.
