Position Responsibilities
 
  • Operate the balancers as needed in production. Operate the skin and heart cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure product is flowing into correct sorting and blanching bins.
  • Pull dryer samples for the QA Tech. 
  • See that all equipment is properly used and maintained.
  • Practice safe work habits and know how to use protective devices.
  • Keep the Shift Supervisor informed of all problems with recommended solutions for these problems.
  • All employees are directly responsible for Quality of OEN products.  Each employee must perform their job function in accordance to the GMP rules and the Sanitation, Safety and HACCP Programs.
  • Must follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job, including but not limited to, Right to Know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, bloodborne pathogens and lockout/tagout.
  • Execute special projects and other-related activities as directed.
  • Sanitation Responsibilities:
    • Keep the overn clean and clear of skins, hearts and other debris.
    • Keep the oiler filled on the chain and working properly.
    • Maintain clean work areas at all times or when appropriate.
    • Keep all areas assigned to you on the sanitation schedule maintained
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    •  Assist with training as needed.
 
Position Requirements
  • High School or GED is preferred.
  •  1 – 5 years of machine operating experience is required.
