Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process raw product according to the schedule and Supervisor/control room Op’s instructions.
- Document information on the “Pre-Clean Daily Log.”
- Make sure the appropriate bin is opened for each lot to be processed. Close bin after the lot is complete.
- Operate the shaker, stoner, and gravity effectively and efficiently keeping a continuous flow of product.
- Know how to set up the pre-clean equipment to “bypass” in the event of excessive foreign material.
- Frequently inspect the work area to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operating correctly.
- All employees are directly responsible for the quality of OEN products. Each employee must perform their job function in accordance with the GMP Rules, Sanitation, Safety and HACCP programs.
- Must follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to job, including but not limited to Right to know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space bloodborne pathogens and lockout/tagout.
- Inform the shift supervisor of any problems with the recommended solutions.
- Execute special projects and other job-related activities as directed.
- Sew and remove bags from QC Lab as needed.
- Sanitation Responsibilities:
- Maintain all areas assigned to you on the sanitation schedule including machinery and equipment. Make sure to incorporate LOTO in your cleaning process whenever necessary.
- Keep the shaker, stoner, and gravity clean and clear of debris.
- Keep decks on the stoner and gravity clean, swapping out decks as required.
- Keep the elevators clean
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with training as needed.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- 1 – 5 years of machine operating experience is required.
