Position Summary
Reporting to Distribution Manager, the 3rd Party Warehouse Coordinator is repsonsible for managing all transactions and inventories at all of the Spices warehouse locations in the US and act as the liaison to customer operations, transportation, sales and product line. They will produce and utilize data projects to analyze, monitor, and forecast trends in logistics. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills. They must be able to prioritize and follow through on multiple working demands to be successful in this role.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound inventory from origin to 3rd party warehouse to customer for all Spices customers.
- Review daily inbound and outbound orders to ensure accurate inventory records in both 3rd Party Warehouse system and PLEX system.
- Work with Transportation team to assist with 3rd party warehouse scheduling for outbound and inbound activities.
- Weekly inventory reports and month end reconciliations, inclusive of review of aging inventory.
- Assist with audit support by providing documentation as requested for monthly, quarterly and year end needs.
- Review and approve 3rd party warehouse invoices.
- Status/completions. Coordinate with other related task and provide training as needed.
- Assist in all other department functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience in domestic and international transportation is required.
- Ability to create and present required information to internal and external stakeholders in an effective and clear manner is required.
- Ability to solve complex problems and present effective and efficient solutions in a clear and concise manner to management is required.
- Great attention to detail is required.
- Knowledge of the movement of freight via air, ocean, rail, and truck is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
- SAP experience is preferred.
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $21.75 - $28.28/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
