Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Position Summary
Responsible to insure safe execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance. Candidate must have maintenance mechanic/technician experience in a manufacturing and/or food processing plant. Must possess people skills and the ability to lead a team toward achieving and exceeding company goals.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership experience
- 2-5 years previous maintenance experience
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Advanced Microsoft Office/ Outlook experience
- Ability to research equipment specs. / Converse with OEM/ sales reps, etc.…
- Preferred SAP knowledge and ability to learn
- Knowledge of inventory management, sourcing parts, and resources for project completion
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Understanding of SDS/ Food grade chemicals
- Teamwork skills with the ability to communicate and lead co-workers effectively
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to handle high levels of stress and prioritizing projects
- Must be able to work in other areas/departments as needed
Position Requirements
- Flexible for all shifts
- Understand and follow instructions
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing and/or food and beverage industry experience a requirement
- Electrical experience (AC/DC; 480v; 240V; 120V
- PLC programming (Allen Bradley) experience a plus
- PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
- 120 VAC/ 12-24 VDC Control Circuit troubleshooting experience required
- Familiar with OSHA safety regulations (required)
- Familiar with scheduling/ completing preventative maintenance tasks
- Lubrication
- Welding experience
- Visual inspections
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to read mechanical/ electrical schematics
- Ability to identify and correct issues as they arise
- Boiler/ steam system knowledge is a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day
- General electrical and basic mechanical experience needed
- Must be able to pass the standard Forklift Driver written & driving exams
