Position Summary
ofi’s internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience and jump-start your career. You will work closely with exceptional talent, building on ofi’s purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future” and contributing to critical work for the business. As a Summer 2025 Intern, you will learn and contribute to the finance team of a global organization, build a robust network, demonstrate leadership skills, and have some fun along the way.
Reporting to SVP Finance, the 2025 Summer Intern: Finance will work with the corporate finance team and be exposed to daily finance operations as well as project work, including Supply Chain Financing Solutions for ofi in the United States.
The ideal candidate will be in good standing with an accredited university and have an analytical mindset, with strong organizational skills. They will possess strong critical thinking skills and have proficiency in accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Position Responsibilities
- Evaluate current Supply Chain Financing programs and provide suggested solutions.
- Perform cost benefit analysis.
- Support automation and process simplification of onboarding, offboarding, documentation and data collection of supplies, vendors and growers.
- Perform ad hoc projects and analysis for the finance team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment is required.
- Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and data protection are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $20 HR and in IL is 22 HR is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
