Position Summary
The Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Lead is responsible for implementation, configuration, and optimization of the OTM system within the organization. This role ensures that the OTM system effectively supports the company's transportation and logistics operations, driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirements and then to develop and map solutions in the OTM
- Architect, Deploy and Support OTM solutions including Interfaces to ERP systems.
- Lead and provide an integrated approach of OTM touch points with other systems
- Lead OTM technical vision to leverage best practices and drive maximum business value.
- Resolve OTM related issues and identify root cause for problems to support transportation users
- Monitor key systems, batch jobs and interfaces between OTM and other systems
- Resolve any OTM EDI related issues to support internal teams as well as carriers
- Create comprehensive documentation, including functional requirements, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation for global organizations.
- Implementation experience in Ocean, Road, and Multimode transportation within OTM.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces is a plus
- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics concepts, including routing, scheduling, and optimization.
- Troubleshooting experience related to order issues, shipment planning issues, bulk planning issues, rating issues, master data issues etc.
- Proven expertise in creating analytical dashboards and reports within OTM.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, BIP reports, XML and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver on time.
- The ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident is required.
