Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Lead with expertise in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementation, along with a solid understanding of S&OP processes within the Food or Process industry. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the successful implementation of S&OP using the SAP IBP system, and to effectively manage the associated change management processes. This position requires travel to project locations within and outside the US to ensure successful delivery and client engagement as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • SAP IBP Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system for Sales and Operations Planning purposes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure the system, and ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
  • S&OP Process Expertise: Demonstrate a functional understanding of Sales and Operations Planning processes within the Food or Process industry. Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design efficient S&OP workflows.
  • Change Management: Manage the change management process to ensure the successful adoption of the S&OP system and processes. Create and execute change management strategies, including training programs, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • System Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the SAP IBP system's performance and functionalities to meet evolving business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity and accuracy within the SAP IBP system. Work closely with data teams to ensure that relevant data is available and up to date for effective decision-making in the S&OP process.
  • Project Management: Define project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure the successful and timely completion of S&OP implementation projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant SAP IBP certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (7 to 8 years) in SAP IBP implementation, specifically in the context of Sales and Operations Planning.
  • Functional understanding of Sales and Operations Planning processes within the Food or Process industry.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices, particularly related to IT implementations and process changes.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to address challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
