Position Summary
Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor and will take direction from the Sanitation Lead. Must be able to work in a variety of areas as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Ability to follow Sanitation Standard Operation Practices (SOPs) as written
- Must adhere to all Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sanitation rules
- Able to follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
- Ability to function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
- Standing and working for long periods
- Ability to work on a ladder and in dusty environments
- Must be able to use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on assigned tasks
- Ability to read and complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process, safety procedures, and job duties
- Attention to detail and instruction provided on the job
- Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
- Will be required to demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
- At times, he/she should be available with short notice 7 days a week. Mainly in the pack season.
- May be required to work overtime if job duties are not complete by the end of shift.
