Position Summary
Reporting to IT Director, the Technical Analyst (Barcode & Scanner) will support continuous improvements and projects on Barcode, scanner, ITS mobile, and RF Framework in S/4Hana with backend technical skills of MySQL, VBScript, and Interfaces with SAP. The candidate will own and develop the reports in collaboration with business teams. Strong functional knowledge of business processes will be essential to success. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.
 
Position Responsibilities 
  • Design industry standard labels with barcode & scanner software like Bartender, Loftware, etc.,
  • Design and implement RF framework in S/4Hana.
  • Writing SQL scripts and designing databases to support label software.
  • Performing ad hoc and structured data analysis for optimizing label design.
  • Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology & business improvement needs.
  • Support other IT teams with testing processes in SAP.
  • Delivering technical training
  • Prepare process flow charts for different processes.
  • Develop prototypes in MS Excel for reports.
  • Develop back-end components, connect the application with the other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the Python application.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree major in Computer Science or Technology is preferred.
  • Proficient in industry label software like Bartender, Loftware and interface to SAP.
  • Expertise in ITS mobile and RF framework in S/4Hana.
  • Have proficient knowledge of MySQL and VBScript.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Label software and  SQL coding. 
  • Having experience in APIs to interface with SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, Macros) and PowerPoint
  • Detailed knowledge/experience in business data analysis tasks, elicitation techniques, and data requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience in one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid) is a plus.
  • Five years of IT experience is preferred.
  • Previous business/ manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills are required.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident is required.
