Position Summary
As the FP&A Manager reporting to the Global Spices CFO, your primary responsibilities include analyzing weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance and benchmarking against key performance indicators. You'll also prepare consolidating financial reports, forecasts, and budget for the Global Spice business. Effective coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders are essential aspects of this role.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have strong technical skills in information technology tools and systems, be able to critically analyze large data sets and organizational metrics, and be proficient in assessing financial and operational performance. This role must be able to prioritize multiple projects and be comfortable communicating with teams across multiple time zones, including Asia and Europe.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with oversight of variance analysis, customer and product profitability, group level profit and loss, spending, and key performance indicator dashboards.
- Consolidation and analysis of Income Statement and Invested Capital forecasts.
- Responsible for assisting in the month-end financial close process and generating associated month-end reports, analysis, and presentations.
- Engage in annual budget and monthly forecasts, including required actions to achieve financial goals; create templates and processes necessary to facilitate gathering of budget inputs from multiple sources; gather inputs and develop appropriate revenue, and cost assumptions, along with key operation metrics that can be tracked and measured.
- Work closely with sales and operational leaders to provide financial insights that inform and drive business performance.
- Assist the CFO with internal reviews including internal weekly, monthly, and annual reviews with Key Stakeholders.
- Perform sales analysis and reconciliation, margin analysis and customer pull rates.
- Propose process improvements for increased efficiencies within financial reporting.
- Review ad hoc analysis and perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
- Six (6) years of relevant finance/accounting experience is required. Masters degree or CPA preferred.
- Big 4 public accounting experience (audit/assurance or consulting) preferred.
- Must possess advanced skills in MS Excel and Access, Familiarity with ERP (SAP preferred), and familiar with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Must be able to work with diverse team across various geographies/time zones.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, presentation, and listening is required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
