Position Summary 
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the daily administrative tasks of the office. 
 
Position Responsibilities 
·            Reception: Greeting guests and directing them to the appropriate staff member(s) 
 

  

  • Answering calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members; maintaining company directories and visitor logs
  • Helping management prepare for upcoming meetings and events; reserving conference rooms, arranging lunches and supplies; providing support throughout the event; setting and cleaning up
  • Entering office related purchase requisitions and goods received into SAP
  • Preparing and sorting incoming and outgoing mailing and shipments
  • Assist Human Resources with employee engagement, preparing paperwork for new hires, and scheduling/coordinating interviews
  • Assist Logistics by processing daily scale tickets, hull tickets, and GSS tickets; keep all applicable spreadsheets current
  • Assist Accounts Payable with processing freight invoices
  • Maintain Grade/Aflatoxin spreadsheet, send out daily emails to keep management informed on quality of peanuts produced
  • Research and compile data as required
  • Creating and editing publications: office announcements and flyers
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements 
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service oriented with great people skills
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and applications including Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrated initiative
