Position Summary:   
  
 
The Maintenance Parts Clerk under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for accurately receiving inbound freight, replenishing parts to storeroom and mobile parts vans, pickup and delivery of parts, monthly cycle counts and annual Fiscal inventory.   
  
  
Position Responsibilities:   
 
  
  • Receiving of all inbound freight and reconcile packing slips to requisitions/purchase orders.   
  • Make necessary copies and notations for discrepancies and back orders.   
  • Performs receiving function in SAP computer program.   
  • Physical stocking of replenishment parts to the shelves.   
  • Maintain neat and orderly storeroom with 3,000 SKU’s and 7,000 items.   
  • Maintain stock to lube van with 200 SKU’s, garlic van with 1900 SKU’s and onion van with 1,800 SKU’s.   
  • Picking, tagging and replenishment of parts to 3 parts vans at harvest sites.   
  • Computer entry of parts issued from stockroom to equipment work orders.   
  • Inspect and clean waste oil containment area daily and crush filters on a weekly basis.   
  • Monitor/maintain janitorial supplies inventory level.   
  • Use of chop saw for cutting digger bar    
  • Clean, dump trash, sweep and mop work area daily.   
  • Daily parts deliveries and errands, delivery of orders to various departments.   
  • Use of small hand/power tools occasionally.   
  • Wash parts truck weekly.   
  • Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Inventory Control Supervisor.   
 

 

 
   
Position Requirements:   
  
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.   
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in related field.   
  • Computer literate: SAP, RF Bar Coding, Excel and Microsoft Outlook experience preferred.   
  • Ability to multitask.   
  • Forklift driving experience required and daily inspection of forklift.   
  • Ability to perform and comprehend verbal and written communication in English.   
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  
  • Meet all physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in cold and/or hot environments.   
  • Valid driver’s license and current DMV printout.   
  • Able to complete hazardous waste/DOT Trainings.  
 
 
 
 
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $18-$20/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
