Position Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing process orders to ensure proper material and proper batch number allocated to each order and preparing drums/totes to dump. Dump and Systematically consume Product to the Customers PO. Reporting to Logistics Lead/Supervisor

Position Responsibilities

Before dumping inspect exterior of drums/totes and insure there is no damage on tops and sides are clean/ no insect presence on outside or inside containers.

Remove lids/flaps and insure the correct product type, fraction, size for verification prior to dumping.

Move full Drums into position to dump using the Dumper attached to the Hopper.

Utilize barcode scanner to consume material to packaging process orders per ERP/SAP systems.

Maintain all labels from drums dumped onto reuse sheet.

After dumping product clean inside of drum/tote before putting lid and ring back on drum or breaking down the totes.

Put empty drums on the Drum Drop and push them down the line.

Return all unused Drums of material downstairs using the elevator.

Ability to perform all Packaging Specialist Duties

Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Ability to perform and comprehend verbal and written communication in English.

Ability to learn how to run multiple pieces of equipment

Fill out necessary paperwork as required

Use RF Scanners

Keep drums/totes organized and dump correct product

Must have the ability to Dump Containers of Material at a rate that doesnt allow the Hopper to run empty

Able to work overtime and work weekends as needed as well as working off shifts

Must have good attendance and work record

Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision

Any other duties as needed

The pay for this role in the state ofCA is $19.28/hr. and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
