Position Summary

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Finance Sr. Director will be responsible for managing the monthly financial closing and related reporting for the Olam Peanuts product line. This position is responsible for providing oversight on financial and internal audits and for insuring the proper internal control environment is in place and operating effectively.

The Finance Sr. Director will collaborate and support cross functional departments.


Position Responsibilities

        Manage the monthly financial closing and forecasting process.

        Insure accurate general ledger account balances.

        Prepare entity statutory & management financial reports.

        Manage financial and internal audits.

        Create and evaluate internal accounting policies, procedures & controls.

        Preparation of regulatory and governmental information forms.

        Manage the Annual Strategic and Budgeting process.

        Lead Monthly Financial Reviews with Senior Leadership Team focusing on both results for the Month and YTD: ability to assess trends (both Positive and Negative Variances against Budget) and partner with the Operations and Sales/Marketing Teams in managing the trends to insure maximum value delivery

        Effective participation as the Finance interface with key customers.

        Work with multiple stakeholders both within and outside US

        Work on special projects, as requested.

        Perform other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements

        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

        CPA or CMA certification preferred.

        Food Processing and/or Ag/Farm experience preferred.

        Minimum seven (7) years responsibilities in accounting/finance, with financial reporting experience.

        Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time is required

        Ability to work under pressure while maintaining perspective and respect for others

        Ability to be creative, flexible, and able to drive/guide change.

        Ability to multi-task, follow through and meet deadlines.

        Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-entity & multi-cultural environment.

        Strong leadership, management, and people skills.

        Strong communication
